A visit from Tennessee

John's got here from Tennessee the day we got home from the hospital. They arrived about two hours later. Great timing!! They stay at John's grandma's house just a mile and a half down the road. I won't bore you with every detail about thier stay but I will tell you that I am soooo thankful for the meals Mama Sandy cooked and put in our freezer, all the meals we ate at Grandma Martha's house, the help with my housework and most of all helping with Blake!!! I will just let you look at some pictures of the great time we had together!!!

Trever Scott Anderson

Well, life with two kids has completely made me feel like a crazy lady!!! This little man is six weeks old today and I am just blogging about his birth! Well, here it goes!!!

John and I had to be at the hospital for our scheduled c-section at 6:30 on June 10th so John's Grandma Martha came over to the house to stay with Blake so we didn't have to wake him and take him somewhere. The instant we got to the hospital they put me in a gown hooked me up to an i.v. and we signed the last little bit of papers that needed signed and we were in the OR by 7:00!!! Oh, I forgot to mention that my best friend (sister) was allowed to come in the OR with us!! I was so excited for her to be able to be there for the birth of our baby!

At 7:44am Trever Scott Anderson joined our family!! He was 6lbs 14oz and 20 inches long!!

After they got him all cleaned up and checked him over good then John and DeEtte went with the Dr. and baby to the room while I was being stitched up and in the recovery room for some observations. After about 30 minutes they took me back to the room and I was able to hold that sweet smelling little man for the first time! My mom brought Blake to visit later that morning. He wasn't too sure what to think of his brother, he was more interested in all the cool things in the hospital.

Ok, now it is time for me to brag a bit :) I worked out my entire pregnancy doing pilates, yoga and spin class!! AND IT PAID OFF!!!! That afternoon after surgery when the nurses would come in to check on me they were completely impress at my recovery! I hardly had any pain and was able to move quite well. For c-sections they normally require a 48 hour stay to make sure that everything is going ok. BUT because I rock..hehe...the nurses came in just 24 hours after Trever was born and asked if I wanted to go home!!!! I couldn't believe it! Of course I did!!! We were home by 3:00 that afternoon! My recovery went so well this time around that I was back doing yoga and walking when my baby was two and a half weeks old! It took me a good 4 months to feel like myself with Blake!

Now back to Trever! This baby is nothing like his brother when it comes to personalities!!! Blake was such a quiet baby that never cried! If he was crying then he was really really really mad or hurt! WELL Trever cries all the time! Yay for us :) We are blaming a lot of it on his belly. I am trying to decide if it is food that I am eating that is making him super gassy or what the deal is. We have an appointment at the chiropractor to get him adjusted and see if that helps any. I sure hope so cause this poor little man is either crying, eating, burping or spitting :( Makees for rough days and long nights. But it doesn't make me love him any less. He has been a real joy to have and I am really looking forward to all the boy adventures that he and Blake are going to have! Oh and Blake is completely in love with his brother and wants to hold him all the time! Which is normally fine with me except the time he decided to carry trever about 20 yard to me! YIKES that scared me!!!
