Homeschool?

I ordered a 4 year old Christian preschool curriculum for Blake and his buddy Kaelyn. Out of the 4 oldest kids that I baby sit these two are the only ones not going to preschool this year. I have been praying about this whole school thing. I know that Blake doesn't need to attend school yet...for goodness sakes he still have two school years before kindergarten. He is gonna be in school for 13 years, why make him go so early??? BUT, I do feel that Blake is ready for some sort of learning program. He is a smart cookie and could really benefit from it. Who better to teach him than ME?? God sure does have a sense of humor right? I guess that's what you get when you let Him guide you and not take control! I don't feel that I am supposed to be homeschooling him forever but I feel that it is going to be a great start for him. I am absolutely loving the curriculum I found. I pray that this is going to set a great Christian foundation and that when he does go to public school he will be different than all the other kids!! I want him to be a kind, loving friend to everyone and not be the one at school that has to one up everyone because that is what society teaches us to do!! I want him to go to school and be a great example of what a Christian boys looks and lives like. I can hardly wait to start school with the two of them on Monday!! There will be "first day of school" pictures coming soon!!!

Oh to be a kid!!!

I babysat Kellyn's boys one day and it was so hot outside we had to strip down and play in the water! I love watching the kids when we do this :) They are all so different. Praise God for little kids!!!

Lost Trail Ranch

We went to Lost Trail Ranch at the end of July. My Grandma has a cabin up there and we met up with a bunch of my mom's family to celebrate Grandma Sue's 74th birthday!

Yay! Out of the car and time to explore!

Trying out an outhouse for the first time! He wasn't too impressed.

Is there something on my nose?

We went to my Grandma's cabin for breakfast.

Tried to do a timer picture...the picture says it all :)

Have I ever mentioned I love my family? Because I do!!

Exploring!

Giving his pacifier a wash in the dog water! GAG!!!

Nothing but giggles when the girl cousins are around!

Getting a ride on Uncle Oli's bike.

1 2 3 JUMP!!! Until Weston bonked his head pretty good :(

The cabin we stayed in! So cozy!

Watching the horses!

This pretty little niece of mine is starting 1st grade in a little over a week and I am not sure I am going to handle it well!! I remember walking into the hospital the day she was born and she had my heart from that moment on! Soooo pretty, smart, funny, adventurous, cuddly, and so many other things but I have to stop there because I am gonna start crying! I think God gave my sister this little girl so that I would have a girl in my life to spoil! Did I mention she is named after me? Hadley Jae. My sister has called me Jae since the beginning of time. I feel honored to have a beautiful girl named after me!

Aunt Lvonne had to try her summer salt abilities on the bridge!

This is my favorite family in the world! Well, besides mine ;)

Oh silly silly sister!

Riding a horse for the first time!

Oh baby Amon!!

Looking great for a 74 year old :) I hope I can be half as healthy as she is when I am her age! This lady goes to the gym every morning at 6:00!! She is my hero!

Cake time!

This is one sweet Amon!

We saw these  babies on the way home. What a great way to end a weekend!

Ski Hi Stampede 2012

I kicked off the Stampede weekend with the Thursday night concert. This year we got to see Hunter Hayes and Craig Morgan. It was the best concert yet!! We got super close to the stage and the energy was amazing! It sprinkled rain the whole time. My lovely husband opted out of the concert this year and was stayed home with the boys. Very nice of him to let me have some fun with my friends!

This here is Kellyn!! I love her!! And I love her boys!!!

My Mom, Sis and I were caught mid giggle in this picture :)

Hmm, I think this is Hunter Hayes! He was a young cutie ;)

Golly, I have never seen me and DeEtte look so much alike and my brother looks so happy to be with his bosses! Ooops!! I mean sisters!

My cousin Teal, Me, Chet, Katie (Chet's girlfriend creeping in the back) cousin Shea and DeEtte!

Craig Morgan singing "Red Neck Yacht Club"

Friday morning parade. Cousins are the best thing created!

Trever clapped at all of the motorcycles and four wheelers that went by!

Monte Vista High School marching band....not gonna lie....I get chills and a bit teary eyed hearing the cadence!! I had so much fun in band in high school!

John and I took Blake to the Friday night rodeo. I cried seeing the flag and hearing the National Anthem! I love our country and never take any of our freedoms for granted!

How sweet is my little cowboy!

We promised Blake one ride on the big steering wheel (Ferris wheel). It was his only carnival ride and he was not all that impressed...which I was pretty pumped about ;) That place is a germ infested rip off!!!

He had his first funnel cake. Loved every bite until he passed right out!

Stampede is exhausting for every age :)
